Friday, August 8, 2014 at 7:00pm to 9:30pm at Center for Living Peace in Irvine will present their monthly Peace in Motion Café Movie Night. Each month, a socially stimulating film is screened with group discussion following.

From Academy Award-nominated director Richard E. Robbins, Girl Rising journeys around the globe to witness the strength of the human spirit and the power of education to change the world. Viewers get to know nine unforgettable girls living in the developing world: ordinary girls who confront tremendous challenges and overcome nearly impossible odds to pursue their dreams. This event is CAFÉ STYLE – Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beer and wine refreshments. Wine glasses will be provided, however, please bring your own utensils and plates.
