With your school aged kids going back to school soon, this is a perfect event for the little’s in your life (although my older girl still enjoys it).
The Upper Newport Bay Nature Center hosts “Tideland Tykes” and “Wild Tales” on most Thursday & Friday’s at the Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive center. Preserve Staff presents a fun filled parent and child event.
The event usually includes exploration of the bay, wildlife and environmental issues with story telling, arts & crafts or a hands on activity and an outdoor walk.
After the event you can let your little one’s explore in the kids room to play with puzzles, read books, play with puppets and observe the Nature Center pets.
