Irvine’s Global Village Festival & Walk for Unity


Voted “Best Festival” by OC Weekly, Irvine Global Village is one of Orange County’s fastest growing multicultural events. Get ready to travel the world at the City of Irvine’s annual Global Village Festival on Saturday, September 27, 2014, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. at Bill Barber Park.

Now celebrating its 13th year, this multicultural event features international cuisine, live entertainment, a kids village with crafts and activities, cultural and religious exhibits and an international marketplace. Festival admission and parking are FREE.


For a great pre-event activity, join “Walk for Unity” hosted by the Tiyya Foundation to bring Irvine’s community together in support of global harmony and celebrate cultural diversity. The 5K walk begins at the corner of Harvard and San Juan at 9 a.m. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. Please park your vehicle at the Woodbridge satellite parking lot and ride the shuttle to the Festival. The shuttle from Woodbridge drops off near the Walk of Unity check-in tent.

Satellite Parking Locations:  Bill Barber Park is located at 4 Civic Center Plaza, Irvine. Note: there will be no on-site parking at the event.

Public parking is not available at the event site; however free shuttle buses will be in service to transport guests to and from the Festival’s satellite parking locations at Main and Jamboree and Woodbridge Community Park. Shuttles will be running from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Disabled person parking will be available at the San Juan or Civic Center parking lots adjacent to Bill Barber Park.

To avoid parking congestion, guests are encouraged to carpool, bike or walk to the event.


Anteater Express : A shuttle service is available for UCI students and staff.
