Celebrate Dia de Los Muertos Celebration with a FREE day at Children’s Museum at La Habra on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 1:00 – 5: 00 p.m.
An indigenous observance dating back hundreds of years to the times of the Aztecs- Dia de los Muertos is a colorful day celebrated in Mexico in honor of departed loved ones. Visitors will enjoy the festivities while making decorated sugar skulls and whimsical calavera masks, and sampling sweet bread and Mexican hot chocolate.
*IMPORTANT NOTE-To allow for a more comfortable and enjoyable free visit, handstamps are issued for specified time slots, with a maximum of 250 per session. Session times: 1pm-2:45pm, and 3:15-5:00pm.
